It is very important that your instrument, bow, and accessories are handled
with great care. Please read the following tips.
1. Keep a lint-free cloth in your case at all times. After each practice or
performance, clean the rosin from the strings and the area near the
bridge. This will help keep the instrument sound its best.
2. Do not touch the bow hair with your fingers or any other substance
except rosin. Otherwise, the hair may become slippery, and the hair will
no longer produce a good sound.
3. Please do not use any type of furniture polish to clean your instrument.
Make sure that you use only a polish or cleaner that is sold at the violin
shop.
4. Be sure to loosen the bow hair after each practice session.
5. Do not allow any other student play on your instrument.
